Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval. Responsibilities: Performs initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Responsibilities may also include software quality assurance testing. Manages multiple IT Quality teams or an IT Quality functional area (depending on of business). Resolves complex and highly variable issues. Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes follows and analyzes industry trends. Develops and designs standards and procedures ensures that they are adhered to throughout the software development life cycle. Manages organizational process change. Develops and implements methods for cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities. Strives for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes. Ensures consistency and quality of processes across the organization. Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality and has basic commercial awareness. Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc. Uses evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations uses multiple sources of information. Impacts IT Quality through delivery of end results and contribution to planning, finances/budget and formulation of policies. Responsible for budgeting, project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization across multiple streams of development Responsible for people management, mentoring and career development process for Shanghai team including delivering performance review, training, recruiting. Collaborates with local and global stakeholders like QA team, production support team, environment management team, DBA team, etc. to ensure project stability and productivity. Responsible for handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications: Min 8 -10 years IT Testing experience required Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and testing tools Knowledge of well-known software development and testing life-cycle methodology Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence SDLC knowledge / experience is must. AML/Compliance Banking knowledge is a must and MANTAS product knowledge is preferable. Candidate with Citibank experience is preferable Experience in direct team management is a must Professional experience in communication with Senior Management is a must Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred The role is is to manage all project level test items and also support vendor management activities which is highly required to have a seamless operation on site. This role will require the individual to oversee the AML Investigation portfolio of changes (AIP releases, AML BI releases, AML QA releases, Tech Changes etc), be a primary GATE contact for all third party testers and also oversee opportunity for supporting automation activities.
