Job Title: I.T. Specialist Division/Department: I.T. Department Reports To: VP, Operations JOB SUMMARY Will be part of the team that manages information technology and computers systems. Directly involved with the research and development team of Orient Telecoms IT Products and service offering. Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Monitor, Maintain and Manage Orient Telecoms internal IT Infrastructure, LAN, Firewall, Servers. \xc2\xb7 Support for Orient Telecom\xe2\x80\x99s NOC ; Attend to escalations involving Orient Manage services (Routers and Firewall Appliance) \xc2\xb7 Installing new software and hardware components. \xc2\xb7 Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands. \xc2\xb7 Assisting with network administration tasks. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring data storage is safe and secure. \xc2\xb7 Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software. \xc2\xb7 Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage. \xc2\xb7 Supporting the day-to-day operations of Orient Telecoms internal computer network. Requirement: \xc2\xb7 Degree in Computer Science/Technology/Information Technology/Engineering with a major in Networking/Telecommunications/Other related field \xc2\xb7 Possess knowledge of internet infrastructure technologies \xc2\xb7 Has experience in setting up and managing server virtualization technologies such as Proxmox, Citrix Xen Server, Open Nebula and VMWare \xc2\xb7 Knowledge in MySQL/MAIL SERVER/HTTP(APACHE)/RADIUS/LDAP/Windows Domain Controller \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable with different Linux distributions such us Ubuntu ,FreeBSD and CentOS \xc2\xb7 Experience in deploying GPU cluster server is a plus \xc2\xb7 Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced with aggressive deadlines \xc2\xb7 Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities \xc2\xb7 Ability to work extended hours as required . Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels Experience \xc2\xb7 5 years and above Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month Benefits:
