Our client is a leading energy solutions provider and they have a few job openings for the IT Specialist position Reporting into the Group IT Organization, responsible for the following governance functions: IT financial, sourcing, procurement and vendor management (SPVM) within the IT Organization. IT Governance and Risk Management - putting structure and policies around how organizations align IT governance and policies with respective IT functions and operations, ensuring that IT stay on track to achieve their strategies and goals, in area specified under the governance framework and policies. In addition, manage the IT Risk Management portfolio with respective IT Functions with the IT organization. Responsibilities IT financial, sourcing, procurement and vendor management (SPVM) Monitoring, tracking and analysis of IT Spending and Cost optimization potential, working collaboratively also with Finance Department. Setting up IT sourcing/procurement policies and ensuring alignment with Corporate Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) standards/policies Develop IT sourcing framework, guidelines and templates that can be shared across the organization whether within IT functions or Citizen IT. Evaluate the need for any sourcing/procurement systems/platform and align with and leverage existing tools/systems and drive the sourcing and implementation for such a platform if needed. Maintain and manage all IT vendors and contracts Provide insights on the relevant IT vendor landscape / market to IT (and relevant business) leaders aligning with Group IT Strategic Plans. Adopts category planning as a means to develop proactive processes while enabling non-IT staff to become subject matter experts (Citizen IT) in the sources of technology most critical to the business. Positively impacts business performance by effectively working with peers, partners, third parties and others who are not in the line of their command. Uses financial knowledge as an opportunity to decode financial objections and address the underlying reasons for pushback IT Governance and Risk Management Work collaboratively with IT leaders in all IT policies development, updates and maintenance within Group IT Work with GRC team to maintain the IT Risk Register (ITRR) and work with the relevant IT and business stakeholders on all IT action plans to resolve or mitigate the risks. Align and work with GRC team for the sourcing and implementation of an IT Risk Mgmt (ITRM) including 3rd party risks management platform, synergizing with group-wide Risk Mgmt systems/platform requirements Develop IT Governance/Compliance KPIs/Metrics and measurement framework, and monitor for compliances across all IT systems Provide insights and recommendations on IT risk management to executive management Develop standard operating procedures for IT systems to ensure compliance with corporate governance Requirements At least 5 years working experience in financial management and reporting, sourcing and vendor management. Experience in IT governance, policies and risk management. Strong collaboration between stakeholders. Ability to translate technical or complex concepts into user-friendly language Ability to collaborate, working closely with both functional and technical teams Strong analytical, problem[1]solving, and trouble-shooting skills Ability to remain flexible as priorities change, adaptable to change, and able to accept ambiguity Effective communications skills including written, verbal, and presentation Ability to work independently and within a team environment Established skills in time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization of work Possesses technical IT knowledge to the point that understands functions, processes, key products and services.
