Position Overview

The IT Support Executive is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining operational systems, and ensuring smooth functioning of all IT infrastructure across the organisation and franchise outlets. This role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting with new system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, POS systems, printers, and network-related issues. Respond to IT service requests and incidents promptly to minimise downtime. Escalate unresolved issues to higher IT levels or vendors when necessary.
2. System Maintenance & Monitoring

Monitor system performance, server connectivity, and network stability. Ensure all IT equipment, POS systems, and operational software are functioning properly. Perform preventive maintenance and regular system updates.
3. User Support & Training

Assist employees and outlet staff in using company software, applications, and internal systems. Conduct basic IT training and onboarding for new employees or franchisees. Provide user guides or simple SOPs for system usage.
4. IT Asset & Inventory Management

Maintain records of IT equipment, licenses, and inventory allocation. Ensure all systems and software are licensed and compliant with company policies. Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and warranty claims.
5. System Implementation & Operation Support

Support system rollouts, software upgrades, and new outlet IT setup. Assist in testing and launching new operational systems (POS, HRIS, ERP, etc.). Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure system integration and support business continuity.
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance Support

Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are implemented. Assist in basic cybersecurity monitoring and adhere to IT security protocols. Support compliance with company's IT governance and data protection policies.
Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field. 1-3 years of work experience in IT support or helpdesk environment. Knowledge of operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, POS systems, and networking. Familiarity with cybersecurity basics and cloud or ERP systems is an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Strong communication and customer service orientation. Proactive, analytical, and attentive to detail. Ability to multitask and respond quickly to operational needs. Willingness to travel or provide remote support when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
