Resolve support tickets in a fast and professional manner.
Keep support requester updated on the progress of resolving their support ticket.
Ensure all support coming in on emails, phones and conversations is logged in the support system.
Log any bugs or feature request in helpdesk system.
Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation and data center day to day administration.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Providing desktop and server support.
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops including supports.
Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops.
Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained.
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Mathematics, Science & Technology or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced implementation environment.
Proactive to anticipate the needs of production.
Team player.
Highly organized with an ability to do multi task.
Thrive in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
Willing to learn new technologies and operating environments.
ITIL experience is an added advantage.
