Responsibilities

1. Hardware and Software support:

Setup and configure IT equipment (Computers, Laptops, Printers, etc. Troubleshoot and maintain IT equipment (hardware, OS and applications) Provide end user support services to the staff (on-site and off-site via remote access) To liaise with technical support agencies and external suppliers (hardware and software) as appropriate, to report problems that could not be resolved locally, and implement recommended solutions

2. System Administration and Support

Perform systems administration functions for Windows AD infrastructure, Exchange, software updates, anti-virus, backups and CRM systems Data Storage Management - backup and restoration Manage company backup of email and file storage To maintain accurate documentation of backups, maintenance tasks and procedures

3. Network Administration and Support

Support and maintain network infrastructure, i.e firewalls, switches, Internet connection Assist on management of corporate network infrastructure device and cabling

Requirements

Degree or higher in Information Technology/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or related fields Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role Must have knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux environments Good understanding of computer systems, networks and network routing, mobile devices and other tech products Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues, and provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal Familiarity with Microsoft 365, as well as scripting and programming skills (e.g. Java) will be an advantage Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux or similar technologies is a plus Good team player, resourceful and has a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving Result driven and can work efficiently in fast-paced environments Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia Position is open to Malaysian citizens only

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
