Open Position: IT System Analyst (MNC Company)

An MNC Company is hiring IT System Analyst to manage the IT infrastructure platforms and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office. You will be responsible to implement system requirements by outlining and analysing system problems, testing and designing standards and solutions.

Key requirements include:

• Oversee the enterprise infrastructure and operations activities, which include hardware, operating systems, system software, networks, IT security, telephone systems, on-premises data center, colocation facilities, cloud providers, and disaster recovery

• Manage, maintain and secure all physical and virtual IT infrastructures including, but not limited to; servers, storage, network, colocation and cloud services

• Research, evaluate, install and configure all hardware, peripherals and system equipment including upgrades to memory, disk, peripherals, and cabling

• Install operating systems, update, patch and configure Windows platforms. Performs system tuning as needed

• Monitor the state of the network and general throughput. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct problems

Key requirements include:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in operating system, data center, server administration, database, physical and virtual environment.

• Good experience managing firewalls, proxy servers, remotes access, intrusion detection systems, encryption, antivirus, data loss prevention, identity management and security and risk management

• Detailed oriented and able to plan/prioritize tasks and projects accordingly

• Able to work independently with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
