Job Description
The Junior Application Support Engineer in the Enterprise Solution Department holds a critical position, acting as a technical backbone for the Loan Origination System (LOS) ecosystem. This role directly influences business agility by improving system security, reliability, and customer responsiveness. The Engineer will collaborate closely with Application Developers and Project Managers, providing expert-level production support and technical consultation across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to drive key system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Technical Troubleshooting
: Diagnosing complex software bugs, API failures, and database connectivity issues. This often involves reading logs (Dynatrace) or running SQL queries to find data discrepancies.Environment Management
: Ensuring that both non-production (SIT/UAT) and production environments are stable for LOS ecosystem (PHP, Oracle, MSSQL), including the coordination and support of live Disaster Recovery exercises.Incident & SLA Management
: Responding to IT service tickets within a specific timeframe and prioritize issues based on business impact.Bridge to Engineering
: When a bug is too deep for a quick fix, he/she required to gathers the "steps to reproduce" and escalates it to the External Development team.Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
