The Role
- Carry out field surveys, data analysis and reporting
- Must be willing to travel and occasionally work long hours.
- Be able to prepare EIA and EMMP reports
- Work as a team on EIA, EMMP and other related projects, including develop understanding of EIA procedure in Malaysia, methods and tools to carry out impact prediction and evaluation, mitigation methods and monitoring
- Be able to carry out field survey planning and execution, data analysis and reporting, including ecological surveys and environmental monitoring e.g. water quality, air quality and noise sampling
- Be willing to learn in the use of relevant tools in data analysis e.g., GIS and Phyton
- Undertakes technical work as part of a project team or independently; this may include site visits, surveys, literature search and review and data analysis
- Be able to work professionally in a diverse team
- Expected to assist in internal and external presentations, participates in project meetings
- Be able to contributes and take the lead in writing technical reports
- Performs technical review within own field of expertise
- Proven verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay, and an ability to use varying communication styles depending on the audience
