Collabera is looking forward to adding a Junior QA Tester to be based in Kuala Lumpur!

This onsite position is open to Malaysian candidates only.

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design, development, and maintaining automated test scripts for API and UI testing.
- Execute automated tests for payment batch file ingestion, processing, and reconciliation within the Interbank payment switch.
- Validate end-to-end transaction flows, including file header, batch-level, and entry-level validations.
- Use Postman for API contract, functional, and regression testing; design collections for API endpoints.
- Develop and execute pytest-based automation frameworks for backend validation and business logic testing.
- Perform Selenium-based UI automation for internal back-office dashboards and portals.
- Analyze test results, defect management, thorough reporting and ensure timely closure through JIRA or equivalent tools.
- Contribute to test data management and ensure complete coverage of testing scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, security policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of QA experience, with focus on automation testing.
- Solid hands-on experience in pytest, Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
- Familiarity with API testing methodologies (RESTful services, JSON, XML).
- Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
