The ideal candidate will assist in preparing bids, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with around 2 years of experience to grow within the construction and tendering field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing end-to-end tender process, including preparation, documentation, and submission.
Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Support in developing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing strategies for competitive bids.
Coordinate with internal teams such as design, procurement, and operations to collect and verify input data.
Assist in identifying potential risks in tenders and propose mitigation measures.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to obtain quotations and ensure cost efficiency.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tender-related documents in compliance with client requirements.
Maintain organized records and documentation of all tender activities for reporting and audit purposes.
Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations when required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, or related field.
At least
2 years of working experience
in a similar role within the
construction industry.
Familiarity with
government projects and Facility maintenance
is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of
local authority specifications, standards, and requirements.
Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
Good communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and relevant estimating software.
Committed, self-motivated, and able to work independently
as well as in a team.
Willing to work extra hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
