Job Title:

Junior Security Administrator

Position Overview:

The

IT Security Administrator (ITSA)

is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role manages user accounts, access permissions, and IT systems while protecting sensitive information and maintaining compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Account and Access Management:

Create, modify, and delete user accounts across systems Manage onboarding, offboarding, and role change processes Administer badge in/out accounts in systems

2. Password and Security Policy Management:

Reset and troubleshoot password issues while enforcing strong password policies Ensure compliance with organizational security standards across all systems

3. System Administration and Support:

Track, resolve, and document IT security incidents and requests via

Remedy

Maintain systems securely with up-to-date patches and configurations Regularly review and audit access permissions to ensure compliance

4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation for account management procedures, system configurations, and security incidents Generate and review reports on user access, security incidents, and system health

5. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

Work closely with IT teams to resolve security issues and implement new security measures Stay informed on security trends, threats, and best practices, recommending process improvements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

2+ years

of experience in IT security administration or a similar role Proficiency with IT systems such as

Remedy, CyberArk

, and similar tools Strong understanding of

IT security principles and practices

Experience with

account and password management systems

Excellent

problem-solving skills

and attention to detail Strong

communication and collaboration skills

across teams Relevant certifications (e.g.,

CompTIA Security+, CISSP

) are a plus
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Experience:

CompTIA Security+, CISSP: 1 year (Preferred) IT security administration: 1 year (Required) IT systems such as Remedy, CyberArk: 1 year (Preferred) IT security principles and practices: 1 year (Preferred) account and password management systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
