Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Service Automation Engineer with expertise in Splunk and ITRS Geneos to support monitoring and performance automation. The role involves configuring monitoring tools, developing automation scripts, and ensuring proactive issue detection in a Unix/Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitoring & Performance Management: Configure and manage Splunk and ITRS Geneos for system health monitoring.
2. Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts using Python & Shell for automation and log analysis.
3. Incident Detection & Resolution: Analyze system logs, alerts, and dashboards to identify and resolve issues proactively.
4. Tool Configuration: Set up and optimize ITRS Geneos Gateway to ensure efficient system monitoring.
5. Collaboration & Optimization: Work with teams to enhance monitoring strategies and improve system performance.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
Mandatory: Experience with Splunk and ITRS Geneos Gateway Configuration.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python & Shell Scripting.
OS: Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
3-5 years of experience in monitoring and service automation.
