Support on tax compliance work (corporate income tax return, WHT filing, GST return, FBT return, etc.) for entities within ASP region.
Perform tax-related journal voucher posting and tax accounts reconciliation.
Support on ad-hoc tax projects as needed (e.g. tax audit preparation, process improvement, new tax implementation, etc)
Liaison with colleagues from various departments, in-house customer (i.e. local tax team), external tax consultants and tax authorities in a respectful and professional manner.
Qualification and Skills
A recognized Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Tax (must include tax subject)
Fresh graduate or up to 2 years working experience in in-house tax department / tax shared services of MNCs or Big4/ mid-size accounting firm
Good English language proficiency, both verbal and written
Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong numerical and data analytical skills with high level of accuracy
Ability to work to multiple deadlines and complete task efficiently and accurately
Ability to work independently on the given portfolio in a supportive environment.
