Job Description


Position Overview:Our client, a leading technological solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join their team, specializing in the local carrier network business. The KAM will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with C-suite clients within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telco solutions, including wireless networks, fixed networks, and core networks, along with a background in ICT sales or telecommunications solutions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-suite clients in the telecommunications industry. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Sales and Account Strategy: Lead sales efforts for key accounts, including identifying growth opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and closing business. Develop tailored strategies for each client to drive revenue growth and deepen relationships.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, and strategically manage and grow a pipeline of potential opportunities in the local carrier network sector.
  • Solution Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on technological solutions related to wireless networks, fixed networks, and core networks. Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients, helping them choose the right solutions to address their business needs.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and customer service, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services. Coordinate with technical teams to provide clients with customized solutions and support.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements. Handle pricing, proposals, and other contractual obligations.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed of the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies within the telecommunications and ICT sectors. Use this knowledge to provide innovative solutions and stay ahead of market demands.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, Network Engineering) or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on key account management and solutions sales. Proven track record of managing C-suite clients and driving business growth in the telco sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, including wireless networks, fixed networks, core networks, and other related telco solutions. Familiarity with ICT solutions sales is also a plus.
