Assist in food preparation according to standard recipes and kitchen guidelines.
Support the chef in daily mise en place (ingredients preparation).
Ensure all food items are properly stored and labelled.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
Follow safety and hygiene procedures (as per HACCP or company SOP).
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing supplies.
Report any equipment issues or shortage of ingredients to the kitchen supervisor/chef.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS: -
Minimum
6 months to 1 year experience
as a Kitchen Crew or Commis 3.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling.
Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good discipline and hygiene practices.
