- Previous experience in a kitchen, especially in hot food preparation, is a plus.
1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot meals under the supervision of our kitchen staff.
2. Help in managing the hot food section, ensuring ingredients are readily available and equipment is in good working order.
3. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including cleaning cookware and utensils, and sanitizing food preparation areas.
4. Participate in the receiving, storage, and inventory management of kitchen supplies, particularly those related to the hot food section.
5. Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hot equipment and appliances.
6. Support the plating and presentation of hot dishes, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
7. Assist in other kitchen duties as needed, including helping in the bakery section and maintaining a tidy dining area.
8. Engage in continuous learning about new cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
