Job Brief

Cardtrend is looking for a dynamic and proactive

L2 Support Engineer

to join our Support Department. You will work closely with the Support Manager during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) maintenance phase. The role offers exposure to both Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) support functions, depending on your capability and growth aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

Execute tasks assigned by the Support Manager across various support functions. Attend meetings and prepare minutes. Perform duties according to business needs as requested by the Support Manager. Manage Configuration Items in Confluence/Knowledge Base. Create, update, and maintain documentation templates collaboratively with the team. Assist in Root Cause Analysis for recurring issues. Handle L1 support duties: ticket creation, tracking, and closure via Jira and Confluence. Contribute to and maintain solution documents for frequently asked questions. Participate in investigating technical issues and document resolutions. Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or department head.

Requirements

Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum

3 years of experience in the IT industry

. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Hands-on experience with

SQL Queries

and

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

. Experience in scripting, database replication, and backup procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Familiar with Jira and Confluence for ticket and documentation tracking. Ability to work in

rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations

. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Willingness to work in Bangsar South.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
