Lab Assistant - IWK Pantai Dalam
Position Overview:
The Lab Assistant at IWK Pantai Dalam provides essential support to laboratory operations by assisting with specimen handling, processing, and administrative tasks. They ensure smooth laboratory workflows to support patient diagnostics, research, and clinical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, and process laboratory specimens following established procedures.
- Prepare samples and reagents for testing.
- Assist laboratory technologists and scientists with routine tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of specimens, test results, and laboratory activities.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of laboratory materials and specimens.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory work areas and equipment.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with procurement.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate laboratory services.
Qualifications:
- SPM, diploma, or equivalent; background in biological or health sciences is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
