About the role

You will be a part of the Global Compliance and Approvals Team. We remove the barriers to accessing markets to make sure that Dyson products are not kept off the market by regulations and standards.

We are responsible for ensuring that all Dyson products comply with all relevant regulations, standards and legislation in over 90 countries. We use internationally recognised standards to demonstrate compliance as well as country or region specific standards.

In general, this role will:

Managing and deliver multiple projects by Dyson product category with multiple project complexity

Become the single point of contact for Compliance and Approvals team against cross team and Compliance and Approvals client within Dyson

Managing the project transfer from early stage to SOP; to ensure the deliverables is completed or achieve at correct resolution before project transition to SEA

Communicate effectively with all business functions, ensuring non-technical functions correctly understand the impact of compliance and approvals requirements, project timelines, risk and issues

Managing the resolution collaboratively with the cross team to resolve any timeline risks and issues to ensure the project is being delivered as per plan

Seen as a main contributor at resolving product compliance project management issues

Works autonomously with minimal support or guidance

Accountabilities:

Manage project timeplan and scope to avoid conflicts and bottlenecks, and resolve complex risks and issues for Compliance and Approvals

Ensure that the project information and compliance requirements within their own design projects are verified as correct and accurate, using the methods agreed within the Team

Create and implement Compliance and Approvals timeplan, chair cross sub team meetings and reviews to evaluate progress and ensure risk and issues are identified and managed accordingly

Owning, ensure the deliverables, project information management, and reporting are met to standard for projects

Represent the Compliance and Approvals Team within Dyson and may represent together with Programme Manager to escalate project risks and issue for Compliance and Approvals

Understand the risks associated with product design and how this impacts compliance and support the senior members of the team in managing and mitigating risks

May act as mentor to other team members

About you

In depth knowledge of and sound understanding of regulatory project management fundamentals

Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at a senior level

Relevant knowledge of the Compliance and Approvals process for the main Dyson markets and basic understanding of the Compliance and Approvals process for the other Dyson markets

Relevant experience of RDD development of multiple Dyson product categories

Proven ability to communicate regulatory concepts to the global Compliance and Approvals team and RDD stakeholder in a clear and unambiguous way.

Ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate with the work of others

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
