In this position you will.... be providing legal and compliance support across a wide range of tasks to the Malaysia legal and compliance function. You may also be asked to support the legal and compliance function in respect of tasks in other locations, from time to time. You will be responsible for Assisting in the provision of legal advice, service and support pertaining to bolttech Malaysia Handling Malaysia related legal tasks and assignments such as legal research, drafting, reviewing and preparing intercompany arrangement and commercial contracts with third parties including vendors, suppliers, business partners, clients and customers etc. Ensuring compliance with internal process and procedure in place and proper documentation within bolttech Engaging and liaising with company secretary, external counsels and auditors, where relevant and required Providing legal administrative support to the Department Communicating and dealing with various stakeholders and as and where required, to follow up and monitor the progress on relevant matters For you to be successful we expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies: Impactful Has a clear understanding of team\'s objectives and aligns efforts to these. Displays loyalty and trust to team Co-operates with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals Communication Communicates clearly and actively listens to others Provides others with information they need in a timely manner You will require the following qualifications and skills Education: Qualified lawyer in Malaysia or with Bachelor of Laws recognized in Malaysia Preferably with similar or related working experience in legal secretarial and administrative field Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with excellent verbal and written communication skills Comprehensive understanding in Malaysian laws, particularly in relation to contract, commercial and corporate laws, personal data protection etc. Knowledge of insurance or financial services generally will be an advantage. Advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc. Able to handle sensitive and confidential information Good organization, coordination and multi-tasking skills Resourceful, quick-learner and able to work independently with minimum supervision
