:Job summaryWe are seeking a Finance Analyst to liaise and collaborate with people within the team and across all levels of the business and in different locations to execute on assigned deliverables which requires strong working partnership with relevant stakeholders, including Product Controllers, Business Managers, Tax, Operations, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Internal and External Auditors.As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing activities in legal entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results and statements. You will ensure compliance with Malaysia regulatory reporting requirements, financial reporting, management reporting, balance sheet management and capital management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to innovate and automate processes, lead the Finance networking agenda, and expand your tasks and responsibilities. You will also have the chance to present business process enhancement solutions in various forums.   • Prepare and analyze financial regulatory reporting for J.P. Morgan Malaysia entities
  • Prepare and present detailed variance analysis on financials reports
  • Innovate and automate business process improvements
  • Prepare financial and statistic presentation decks for various location Management Committees and Board Committees
  • Provide financial metrics and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency
  • Maintain strong internal financial controls to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Handle ad-hoc projects involving automation and digital solutions
  • Partner and coordinate with the various line of businesses to facilitate forth and implement robust controls including supporting new business initiatives and change management
  • Investigate and execute ad-hoc request from regulator and management on financial data
  • Manage meeting stakeholders and collaborate meeting materials and discussion points
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years\' experience in audit, accounting, banking or finance industry
  • Broad understanding of banking products and familiar with the current local regulatory guidelines and policy pertaining to banking industry
  • Keep abreast with accounting developments/changes and analyze impact and ensure compliance of these changes
  • Effective communicator, with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, strong inter-personal and organizational skills
  • Possess deep understanding of numeric data and analytic skills, with good attention to details
  • A good team player and partner to stakeholders
  • Proactive and strong delivery focus
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; and business process automation tools (e.g. UiPath, Alteryx) is preferred
