Job Description

Responsible for the smooth operation of the services Process new diet orders or diet changes as required and update accordingly Assist patients in making proper selections according to prescribed diet. Take orders either manually or via Mobile Dietary Menu (MDM) Check menu against inpatient's diet prescription and do adjustment accordingly. Consult Dietitian if have doubt. Assist to check each patient's meal at the end of meal assembly process to make sure food is served as ordered Maintain high standards in quality of food procedure, production and services, economical use of labor and food and training of kitchen staff Supervise food preparation process and food services for patients Maintain standards of sanitation and safety equipment being used Review work schedules for Dietary staff and assist HOS to review job performance rating Orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating new staff Responsible in handling procurement process - issuance of Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO) and Good Received Note (GRN) and submit for approval and payment process Assist HOS in supplier management program Assist HOS in monitoring of quality objectives, relevant performance indicators and departmental profit and loss (P&L) and report accordingly Perform any other duties as and when required by the management

Education:

Degree / Diploma in Food Service Management / STPM with at least 5 years' experience in F&B

Knowledge and Experiences:

Fresh graduates are accepted. However, experience in Food Service management will be an extra advantage Familiarity with any food industry Experience in Hospital Dietary Services will be an extra advantage Knowledge of customer service related Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization
