JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION : SENIOR OFFICER / OFFICER / LOGISTICS COORDINATOR FREIGHT FORWARDING JOB GRADE : REPORT TO : SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ EXECUTIVE, FREIGHT FORWARDING PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Seal Container with the shipping seal & sending laden container collection to Haulier CEVA & LTS to ensure container truck into Penang port as per container closing schedules. 2. To assist to arrange for cargo pickup and ensure cargo are delivery to correct terminal and BWCT warehouse for LCL shipment. 3. Able to perform all types of custom declaration form (K8 & K9) including Sea, Air and Road shipments. 4. Support on retrieving of Audit documents when required. 5. Collaborating with transportation to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. 6. Excellent customer service and client relations skills. Keep organization and time management skills. 7. Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 8. To perform other job-related functions as and when required. 9. To perform all assigned tasks including administrative matters assigned by the Executive / Senior Executive / Section Head or any other jobs related functions as and when required. JOB REQUIREMENTS \xe2\x80\xa2 Education Level: Diploma / Degree \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer knowledge and proficiency (windows based preferred) \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Related Working Experience: \xef\x83\xbc\xef\x80\xa0Officer: 1-2 years of experience (preferably related experience) with Diploma \xef\x83\xbc\xef\x80\xa0Senior Officer: 2-3 years of experience (preferably related experience) with Degree/Diploma preferably in related field or 4 years of experience (preferably related experience) lower than Diploma Level (preferably in related field) \xe2\x80\xa2 Skill: \xef\x83\xbc Effective communication, including writing / speaking and interpersonal communication understand Bahasa Malaysia and English. \xef\x83\xbc\xef\x80\xa0Keep organization and time management skills. \xef\x83\xbc\xef\x80\xa0Ability to work in fast-paced environment. \xef\x83\xbc\xef\x80\xa0Computer literate. \xe2\x80\xa2 To attend all trainings and presentations on health and safety matters as well as accident preventions. \xe2\x80\xa2 To comply strictly with EHS related policies and procedures as well as all safety rules that are rolled out from time to time.
