Logistic Coordinator 2

Summary of the role:

A Shipping Assistant is in-charge of Inbound and outbound logistics movements as well the traffic control in term of transportation management for shipment. supports the logistics manager in all aspects of warehouse operations. They ensure that all incoming shipments are intact and accurate in terms of documentation, prepare outgoing shipments, review shipment documentation such as invoices and packing lists, and maintain inventory of shipping supplies for shipping area. In addition, Logistics Assistant work with shipping vendors, coordinate returns of merchandise and manage SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Inbound and Outbound Traffic management.
• Working with stakeholders for incoming Traffic shipment monitoring.
• Communicating closely with forwarders for Inbound Traffic shipment arrangement.
• Perform SAP transaction for Outbound delivery by SAP/EWM
• Working with EWM system to indicate information for populating commercial invoice, packing list and export documents.

• Communicating closely with forwarders for Inbound Traffic shipment arrangement
• Maintain proper record of Shipping Activities & Coordinate with respective freight forwarders on pickup for import and export schedules
• Working with local forwarders trucking department for Sterilization movement.
• Working closely with LMW team for incoming customs clearance process..

• Schedule Pickup and deliveries with forwarder accordance to the business requirement.
• Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system for outbound shipments.

Location:
Batu Kawan, Penang

Education:
Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain are preferably.

Required language(s):
Bahasa Malaysia, English

Experience:
3 to 5 years\' experience in Contract Logistic or Warehousing

Licenses/ Certifications:
MHE Licenses will be an added advantage.

Experience: Required skill(s): Warehouse and Logistic Management, SAP.

Competences: Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, EPJ. ERP (SAP, WMS & Others, Data Entry Skills, Inventory Control, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management)

Physical Demands: Able to Carry not more than 20kg weight
