• Position: Logistics Administration Officer.
• Salary: RM 3000-3500.
• Location: Bandar Parkland (Industrial area), Klang (5 working-day week)

This is a market leading coatings manufacturer in the region, supplying traffic safety products and pavement coatings,ranging from Waterborne paints,solvent paints, cold applied plastic,thermoplastics. In Malaysia, their production plants are located at Industrial area in Klang. Right now, the company is actively seeking an experienced Logistics Officer/Executive.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics activities,including preparing export documents,dealing with shipping lines,freight operators.
Job activities:
xc2xb7Coordinating all export activities which include documentation preparation.
xc2xb7Liaise with with Customs and MITI on the necessary documents.
xc2xb7Liaise with Shipping line vessel to book container/shipments.
xc2xb7Produce timely and accurate export shipping documentation making sure all comply with regulatory and industry standard practices and procedures.
xc2xb7Coordinate delivery schedules.
xc2xb7Monitoring of shipment ETD and ETA for shipments.
In carrying your duties as Shipping Logistics Officer, you will deal with Forwarding agent for Customs clearance and documentation of Shipping procedures.
The candidate

Candidate for this role must have educated up to Diploma level in Shipping/Logistics or Supply Chain/Business
Candidate with proven track record in commercial area within coating/paint industry will be ideal.
Previous experience in all aspects of export administration and documentation is necessary.
This is a key role within the organization, and therefore the successful for this logistics role must be a Malaysian with a strong logistic background and demonstrated experience in international supply chain. You should have considerable experience of working within a cross-functional role, and will be looking to develop and progress your career within logistics fields.
You must have knowledge IT (MS Office), excellent communication skills especially English plus conversant in BM and/or Chinese/Mandarin.
It is important the candidate have the ability to liaise with people from all levels of clients,the local and foreign/overseas operation teams and third party partners.
To be successful, you must be resilient, hard-working hands on self starter.
