Group/Division KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.



The role of a Logistics Administrator is to handle freight activities, shipment bookings ensure full compliance with customs laws, on-time shipment delivery. This position will also be responsible for operations at a warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule, coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, issuing to CM/productions, reverse logistics tasks; resolve logistical challenges by communicating with master schedulers, freight forwarder, transportation providers, and buyers/planners.

Provide subject matter expertise of all international logistics, documentation, customs classifications, and compliance. The main responsibilities of the role are:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Customs and Internal Controls Policies and Procedures
  • Collaborate with forwarders, Customs & Broker(s) to Ensure accuracy on Import & Export documents in areas such as valuation, classification, and origin of manufacture
  • Monitor freight conditions, delivery status, and customer concerns
  • Analyze carrier routes to support best transit time.
  • Communicate order requirements with our multiple warehouses and coordinate with shipping & warehouse to export the goods to our global partners & customers
  • Serve as a liaison for broker and suppliers to resolve import compliance issue and ensure shipments are delivered timely
  • Handle cargo freight claims
  • Being responsible for receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
  • Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
  • Handle transport companies and 3PL
  • Administering inventories control, cycle count
  • Handle inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling
  • Help Master scheduler, productions, planners, buyers to resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
  • Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics or 10 years of logistics experiences in forwarders and as a shipper/consignee capacity with knowledge on scheduling flow, freight operations, customs procedures * SAP experience or similar
  • Ability to work closely with Schedulers, Purchasing, Finance, warehouse, and other plants.
  • Intermediate Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: TEAMS, OneNote, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong customer service skills including verbal and written skills. Able to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
