Job Description

In this role, you will be accountable for all import/export activities, customs clearance, logistics management, container booking/coordination, and data analysis.

• Monitor all import and export activities worldwide, responsible for all matters related to shipping functions.
• Collects, interprets and analyse various types of logistics data including Backlog deliveries, Fulfilment metrics, Shipping lead-time and cost, Reliability and cost effectiveness of 3PL
• Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner, and suggest solutions for shipping process optimisation
• To ensure import & export delivery process is continuous following the rules and procedure set by the Logistic department
• Solve & monitor import or custom clearance regulatory issues
• Supports the design and implementation of Logistical Solutions Works with other team members to develop alternative solutions
• Coaches and counsel's employees on performance, sets performance standards, develop and train direct reports

Regional exposure |Malaysia's largest trading company

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management/Business Administration or the equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years working experience within Global Trading/Import & Export environments
• Experience in customs operations, import regulations, and 3PL/4PL management
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with different levels of people, detail-oriented, self-driven and flexible to change
• Analytical and data driven
• International Trade Compliance knowledge would be highly preferred
• Intermediate level - Excel Microsoft
• Ability to speak in Mandarin is preferred so as to manage several counterparts based in China
