Sephora Malaysia is looking to recruit an Omni Channel Logistics, Assistant Manager.

Missions and Responsibilities

The Omni Channel Logistics Assistant Manager manages and monitors the end-to-end logistics operations in the Omni channel warehouse (3PL), domestic and overseas transport and last mile delivery to customers both B2B and B2C.

This role requires development and implementation of best-in-class logistics and inventory policies and procedures with the objective of delighting the customer. Driving strict inventory policies and procedures both in warehouse and stores, delivery accuracy and best in class lead times with 3PL/Transportation providers are required. All to be managed within a target operating cost and improvement year on year of operating costs in a high growth environment, considering future needs and capabilities.

Key Tasks:

Manage and coordinate with the 3PL for Sephora Warehousing, Transport (domestic and freight forwarding) and fixture merchandising

• Collaborate with 3PL to communicate forecasted business volumes related to warehouse operations for retails, digital and fixture movements.
• Monitor in stock arrival deadlines and fixture requirements for new store openings.
• Efficiently manage inbound and outbound shipments, including all necessary documentation and system updates
• Work closely with procurement and planning team to prioritize inbound and outbound operations
• Address complaints, claims and quality issues involving suppliers, stores, and customer service team
• Partner with procurement team to resolve inventory integrity issues originating from suppliers or brands
• Explore opportunities to enhance last-mile delivery for an exceptional customer experience
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address any performance gaps or issues with 3PL
• Possess a good understanding of shipping incoterms
• Analyze future requirements, demands, and capacities to ensure readiness

Manages and guarantees accuracy of inventory at 3PL

• Conducts monthly meetings with 3PL and transportation providers to assess performance metrics, service levels, costs, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Ensures inventory accuracy

99.5% * Manages stock reconciliation between SAP and 3PL WMS

• Monitors the accurate execution of interfaces between systems
• Oversea specific processes that impact distribution center and store inventory, including stock transfers, returns from stores, adjustments, disposal, and vendor returns
• Manages and perform yearly full stock takes across 3PL
• Monthly reporting and analysis of store stock movements
• Maintains and captures all necessary audit documentation pertaining to stock integrity requirements

Continuous improvement relating to logistics

• Driving ongoing enhancements in logistics processes through continuous improvement efforts
• Serving as primary SAP user for logistics operations.
• Collaborating with 3PL to assess and update Standard Operation Procedures. (SOPs)
• Launching and executing plans to enhance processes in partnership with our 3PL and transportation providers, with the goal of reducing costs and enhancing efficiencies on an annual basis
• Developing contingency strategies for logistics -related activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, ideally in retail including e-commerce, FMCG or Medical Industry
• Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• SAP and WMS experience required
