Retrieve ordered products from designated storage areas or shelves based on order lists or picking instructions.
Ensure accurate picking of items by verifying product names, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
Pack and secure products in appropriate containers or boxes, following packing guidelines to prevent damage during transit.
Perform quality checks to ensure that items meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
Assist in inventory management by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies or stock shortages.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely handover of orders or delivery or dispatch.
Collaborate with supervisors or team leaders to identify process improvement and contribute to a positive working environment.
Requirements:
High school, diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing items.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move packages.
Basic computer skills for order tracking, labeling and inventory management tasks.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions.
