Successfully implement and continuously optimize the TMC operation by effectively managing daily operational KPI\'s and by driving continuous improvement of Transport & Logistics processes, tools and services. Identify \'drive off\' and \'near-shoring\' opportunities to manage all inbound and outbound logistics including customs clearances, packing co-ordination and transportation activities to final destination in coordination with execution team. Responsibilities: You will utilize various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling, custom and trade applications Implementation, monitoring and control of logistics activities for efficient & timely distribution of deliverables to meet project schedule and cost. Initiate, develop and maintain logistics procedures to be in line with Global directives, Trade Compliance policies and local requirements. Ensure compliance of shipping with all local and global regulations, whilst optimizing the distribution network and customs procedures and taking full advantage of possible free trade benefits. Coordinate daily activities to track location and movement of inbound inventory, finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes, re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost. Communicate fulfilment status to Sales and Operations organizations as appropriate, manage insurances, raise incident reports & tracks insurance claims as necessary. Manage import/export activities and issuing shipping, packing and marking procedures/instructions per project requirements, and accordance with all relevant governmental regulations (including hazardous goods) and manage and ensure customs declaration to comply with Customs act 1967 and GST act 2014. Oversees compliance with governmental regulations, verification of vendor certificates, and submission of appropriate documentation for credit letters. Monitor existing approved exemptions, other related licenses/local authority application to support shipping and manage complete documents submission for shipping & invoicing, monitors forwarder performance and approves relevant invoices. Your background: Associates Degree or diploma. 4 to 5 years in logistics, Supply chain management with exposure to HS codes, customs duties, taxes & clearance procedures in Malaysia. Proficient with MS Word, Excel; Demonstrated Negotiation skills. Verbal and written fluency in English, Bahasa is a must.
