A Snapshot of Your Day

The Project Logistics Specialist is who proactively coordinate activities with different internal and external clients and stakeholders to define and develop project logistics and transportation plans. They will also be working with Siemens Energy factories, local and regional Proposal Engineers and Project Managers to develop plans for delivering goods, materials spare parts and infrastructure to customer sites.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

\xc2\xb7 Foster a logistics-aware culture, emphasizing cost and lead time optimization, tool implementation, and decision impact.

\xc2\xb7 Provide strategic logistics support to the Grid Technology Service business within Hub Asia Pacific, offering your expertise in logistics concepts

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new logistics opportunities, encompassing modes, carriers, and equipment types

\xc2\xb7 Preparation of complete set of documents for transport ordering and customs declaration observing specifics for dangerous goods transport where necessary

\xc2\xb7 Supporting process optimization

\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain cost-effective logistics solutions to meeting customer (internal/external) needs

\xc2\xb7 Identify, analyze and mitigate risks for project logistics solutions

\xc2\xb7 Conduct market research and cost forecasting for internal customers, monitoring both domestic and international transportation market trends. Assist in integrating new service providers and technologies into the logistics portfolio.

What You Bring

\xc2\xb7 More than 5 years\' experience in logistics with focus on international transportation

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in business or supply chain fields; experience in lieu of degree will be considered

\xc2\xb7 In-depth familiarity with transportation and logistics-related documents, including preferential trade agreement documentation, letters of credit, manifests, rate cards, ocean bills of lading, and AWBs.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and adaptability to thrive in an environment with shifting requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects and assignments.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate status of logistics deliveries on large scale projects

\xc2\xb7 Critical problem-solving experience and action

\xc2\xb7 Leadership in taking ownership of process and logistics delivery driving stakeholders align on the same goal

\xc2\xb7 Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently and when working in groups
