About the Department
The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients\' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.
Job Responsibilities
Support the processing , margin management and settlement for
Listed derivatives including Option Vanilla and structured options
Equity Derivatives (both plain vanilla and structured) and structured investments linked, including barrier monitoring and corporate action events
Over-The-Counter (OTC) Commodities Derivatives including Commodity swaps, options and futures (including precious metal)
Interest rate / cross currency swaps including structured investment linked swaps
CSA and GMRA collateral margining process
Supports the commodity Murabahah trading via Bursa Platform for the bank for products including Financing-I, Fixed Deposit- I and Money Market Deposit
Manages the queries to /from BNM, MAS ( Monetary Authority of Singapore), Finance, Internal and External Auditors and Compliance and Global Markets Front Office
Prepare and ensure accurate and timely management and regulatory reporting including CASH BOP , EALIS and ROMS reporting
Prepare and monitor month end accounting adjustments for MTM and Memo reclassifications as required
Perform end to end testing from validation to confirmation and settlements for new products
Constantly working on improving current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processes and developing formulated spreadsheets to enable handling and analyzing large and complex amount of data.
Job Requirements
Degree or equivalent.
Good English communication and written skills
Good interpersonal skills and strong team player.
Fast learner and able to handle multi-tasking.
Preferably 1 to 5 years working experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office / 360, excel spreadsheet & power point presentation skills, understand core banking & documentation as well as ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive and demanding environment.
Experience in Global Market application platforms will be an added advantage. e.g. Murex Treasury System
