Machinist
Job Description
Set up, operate, and maintain various machines, including CNC, Milling, Lathe, and Surface Grinding machines, to produce precision parts.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and tool requirements.Program CNC machines for automated manufacturing processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to ensure they meet strict tolerance and quality standards.Adjust machine settings, tools, and feeds to optimize production and reduce errors.Conduct regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.Ensure safe and proper operation of machinery, adhering to safety standards and regulations.Work with production teams to meet deadlines and specifications, ensuring high-quality production.
