A leading FMCG manufacturer is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer job in the chilled plant to oversee the plant\xe2\x80\x99s equipment performance and utility for UHT process. This position reports to the Plant Manager. About the Maintenance Engineer (UHT Process) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plant machinery effectively and efficiently with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the manufacturing operation to meet its daily targets, to reduce wastage and to maintain and upkeep proper inventories for day-to-day troubleshooting on the breakdowns
• Ensure machines and equipment in functional conditions with autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance and total productive management programme
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance plan and scheduled maintenance
• Maintain aseptic line system and performance including UHT processing, aseptic filling and packing
• Responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting of the plant breakdowns
• Attend to authorities such as DOSH, DOE, TNB, etc.
• Review and implement methodology, procedures and standards for the engineering and technical work
• Handle plant shutdown and utility interruption
• Ensure all production and maintenance activities are in accordance to SOP, QMS, ISO, GMP, HACCP, SHE

To succeed in this Maintenance Engineer (UHT Process) role, you must have prior maintenance experience within the dairy and beverage manufacturing industry. Key Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any relevant technical background
• At least five years of maintenance experience within the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in operational excellence tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Steam, etc
• Good problem-solving skills, analytical skills, proactive and result-driven
• Great planning skills and organising skills
