Functional Description

The Maintenance Excellence Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining a World Class maintenance program for all manufacturing assets. These responsibilities include personnel management, training management, and project management. This position directly supervises the activities of technical personnel consisting of both exempt and nonexempt employees.

• This department is responsible for the following functions:
• Driving a best in class standard approach to maintenance across the organization with a prioritization on safety
• Implementation of a CMMS system and leveraging its\xe2\x80\x99 capabilities to drive high equipment availability and reliability
• Adopt and implement best practice methodologies including PdM, RCM and lifecycle management
• Prepare for ISO 55000 certification
• Implement robust spare parts management program fully integrated with CMMS and enterprise procurement systems
• Provide leadership and management to the Maintenance Excellence department, managing a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians and providing talent management including goals, growth plans, performance management etc.
• Develop KPIs for the organization, trend data and drive a minset of continuous improvement across the department
• Maintain adherence to cGMP requirements in training, documentation, procedures etc.
• Support validation efforts and change control for all validated systems
• Develop and maintain department budget with accurate forecasting and cashflow accuracy
• Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation. Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.

Job Requirement

• Proven track record in commercialization and manufacture of high volume and/or complexity and management of equipment used therein.
• Experience and Education Requirements:
• Typically requires a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.
• 5 years and above of previous management or lead experience in maintenance department.
• Experience in setting up and implementation of CMMS system, eg Maximo, RAM is an added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices operations and substantial experience managing equipment maintenance and improvement projects.
