PPG is looking for a Maintenance Intern to join our team at Petaling Jaya Plant. This internship program may range from 4 to 12 months depending on different Universities\' requirements and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. Main Responsibility Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes. Help implement and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics to evaluate equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Support the maintenance team in implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Help troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and other automated equipment. Help update maintenance logs, documentation, and reports. Help manage spare parts and inventory for maintenance activities. Conduct analysis to identify potential areas for improvement in maintenance processes, including the implementation of new technologies. Follow safety protocols and contribute to the development of a safe working environment. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and principles. Familiarity with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) concepts and measurement. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and their maintenance.
