Job Summary

The position is responsible for the Maintenance Department functions of the hotel :

Managing all aspects of engineering and maintenance operations for the hotel, which includes maintaining the building, grounds, guest rooms and public areas giving particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Ensure that all hotel facilities are in excellent working condition, providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests, visitors and employees; therefore, contributing to the organizational mission and overall success. Manage the hotel's maintenance team effectively. Accountable for managing budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, energy conservation while implementing and maintaining regulatory requirements.

Prerequisites:

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems. Strong working knowledge of operational procedures Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, both oral and written. Knowledge of other languages will be advantageous. Strong leadership skills. Knowledge in Fire Safety Management/Risk Assessment Familiarity with regulations and industry best practices Proficient in air conditioning, charging, carpentry, and electrical work Basic command of MS Applications like Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Hotel pre-opening experience will be an advantage Willing to relocate to Muar, Johor

Education:

Professional Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree or above in Hospitality, Electrical & Electronics, Engineering or Maintenance Management or related disciplines

Experience:

More than 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and proven leadership experience in engineering or facilities management, preferably in hospitality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
