Job Description

1. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

Carry out

daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance

on process assembly equipment (e.g., winding, notching, stacking, welding, electrolyte filling, sealing machines). Troubleshoot and repair

mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults

on production machines. Ensure timely response to

machine breakdowns

to minimize production downtime. Replace defective components such as sensors, motors, bearings, and actuators when necessary.

2. Equipment Calibration and Monitoring

Conduct

routine inspection and calibration

of critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, torque, and alignment. Monitor and record equipment performance data to detect early signs of wear or deviation. Work closely with process engineers to support

equipment capability and yield improvements.

3. Continuous Improvement & Support

Participate in

root cause analysis (RCA)

and propose solutions to prevent equipment recurrence issues. Support

kaizen, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and 5S activities

within the assembly area. Assist in

equipment modification, jigs, and fixture fabrication

to enhance process efficiency.

4. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in

CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

. Comply with

safety, ISO, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety)

regulations at all times. Ensure proper use of lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures before servicing machinery. Support audits and equipment validation activities.

Job Requirement

Strong knowledge of assembly techniques and tools. Familiarity with battery components, systems, and technologies. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to use measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermometers. Involves standing, lifting, and operating machinery during shift operations. Excellent attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset. Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
