Job Description

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role involves inspecting systems, diagnosing issues, and carrying out corrective actions in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic areas. The technician will also support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain maintenance records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on production and facility systems. Repair or replace defective parts using proper tools and techniques. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports. Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory standards. Support continuous improvement by recommending and implementing maintenance best practices. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical (vocational training in mechanical/electrical field preferred). Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and repair practices. Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit to handle lifting, climbing, and working in various environments. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with procedures.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
