WE ARE LOOKING FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (Equipment/machine + building & facilities)Position: Maintenance Technician

Working Location: Lot 20, Jalan Pengapit 15/19, 40200 Shah Alam, Selangor
Working hours: Monday to Saturday: 3 shift (6.30am-4.30pm, 2.30pm-12am, 11pm-8.30am). Saturday: compulsory OT
Working duration: 6 months
Salary: RM2,400 to RM2,600 (basic salary) + shift allowance + handphone allowanceJob Summary: Responsible for maintaining, examining and repairing production equipment, building and facilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure equipment and facilities are functioning optimally at all times by complying to preventive maintenance schedule, attending to service requests, troubleshooting and resolving arising issues in timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 To complete the assigned ad-hoc task from superior or companyJob Responsibilities:

• Initiate and perform preventive maintenance according to set schedule to minimize equipment or system breakdown or failure.
• Attend to any service requests relating to repairing or servicing building, facilities (e.g. refrigeration system, compressed air system and etc\xe2\x80\xa6) or equipment (electrical or mechanical issues) as and when they arise, prioritizing the tasks on hand effectively to minimize loss.
• Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration system failures.
• Report all equipment issues and irregularities to immediate superior,
• Assistant Manager and Manager;
• Be involved in installation and commissioning of new system or equipment, ensuring conditions are fulfilled, and performance are acceptable before approving handover from supplier, or handing over to user-department.
• Be on call to respond to any emergency situations for example system or equipment breakdown, power failure and etc.
• Monitor & assist any installations, repair and maintenance jobs performed by appointed suppliers or vendors.
• Maintain proper records of equipment operation, service reports, preventive maintenance records and other electrical, mechanical or refrigeration system related documentation.
• Actively maintain inventory list of electrical, mechanical and refrigeration parts and/or components.
• Comply to Food Safety, Health and Safety and 5S systems implemented by the company.
• Undertake other assigned/ad-hoc tasks from time to time.
• Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by higher authorities.

Requirement:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechatronic/ Electrical & Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years\' relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment or related functions.
• Experience in trouble shooting production related facilities and equipment (e.g. Filing Machines, Packing Machine, Pumps, Servo Control systems, Air compressors, Heating coil system, diaphragm pump, centrifugal pump, vacuum pump, Electrical power systems, Hydraulic & Pneumatic control systems including inverter control speed metre and air-condition/refrigeration systems.
• Experience in handling PLC system will be granted advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to communicate in both Malay and English.
• Resourceful, team player and able to multi-task.
• Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work on shift, weekends and on-call
