Job Description

Monitor, inspect and maintain all assigned machinery and equipment to ensure continuous optimum operation. Carry out preventive, predictive and routine maintenance tasks in accordance to Preventive Maintenance program, instruction and maintenance schedules, or as and when requested by superiors. Be accountable for all common tools and equipment by practicing 5S and good housekeeping, exercising systematic management of tools and equipment. Take immediate remedial actions and/or highlight to superiors of any abnormalities or any unusual or likely occurrence in equipment and machineries encountered during repairs work or routine inspections. Practice and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and practices including work permit systems, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, Confined Space, isolation procedures, etc Respond to and follow-up on emergency or unplanned maintenance or repair jobs when needed in the most prompt and efficient manner.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience in equipment maintenance (rotating and static)

Knowledge of AutoCad and CMMS is an added advantage.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
