Job Description

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned. Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Facility Officer Work within expense limits established. Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program". Coordinate special projects as directed by the Facility Officer. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors. Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled. Carry cell phone / walkie talkie as required for on-call maintenance. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Responsible for alerting the Facility Officer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner. Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct. It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

Possession of a diploma preferably in Electrical Engineering or general equivalency diploma (GED) and one year of assignment-related maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
