Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems (lighting, plumbing, carpentry, AC & HVAC, etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and laboratory equipment & issues
Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance workshop, facility spaces and other workspaces, including assisting gardener/security.
Support setup of equipment or furniture as well as traffic control for occasional events or other office needs
Liaise with contractors/vendors for specialized repairs when required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain accurate logs of repair and maintenance activities, updating maintenance request and its system data entry.
Job requirements:
Diploma in Building Maintenance, Electrical, or minimum SPM
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance
Hands-on skills in basic repair works (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
Good understanding of building systems and safety procedures
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
Strong attention to detail and proactive work attitude
Able to work independently and respond to urgent tasks when needed
Able to work independently MS Words & Excel
