Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in wire mesh and steel product manufacturing. The role ensures smooth operation of machinery such as wire drawing machines, straightening and cutting machines, welding machines.

The goal is to minimize downtime, maintain product quality, and ensure a safe, efficient production environment.

:

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment (wire drawing machines, mesh welders, cutting machines, etc.). Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns. Inspect equipment regularly to detect early signs of wear or malfunction. Replace and maintain consumable components such as bearings, belts, dies, and contact tips. Suggest and participate in process improvements to reduce downtime and improve machine efficiency.

Skills and Knowledge :

2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in

wire mesh

,

steel fabrication

,

metal processing

, or

heavy manufacturing

industries. Have basic knowledge of solving electrical issues. Proficient with technical ability of welding. Familiarity with maintenance tools and measuring instruments. Work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Team-oriented with good communication and reporting abilities.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
