We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Manager, Balance Build.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in overall balance build activities which include Cash Instalment Plan, Balance Transfer, Line management, Card Upgrade/Conversion to drive instalment sales, balances and revenue.
  • He/she is require to work closely with respective business stakeholders to rollout monthly activities/product initiatives in timely manner as per business direction to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Driving new initiative through constant reviewing of customer targeting segmentation, pricing test, competitors benchmarking, credit test to grow profitable sales and balances.
  • Constantly review and streamline on sales processes/customer journey to provide good customer experience.
  • Deputises for Manager, in her/his absence, to attend related meetings, discussions and presentations.
  • Able to show organizational leadership and work as a team to support the day-to-day execution of strategies.
  • Develop, implement and review to ensure tight control in processes & system support is aligned with business direction.
  • Ensuring full compliance to internal requirements as per FIM & BIM.
  • Ensuring full compliance to external regulations & policies issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Association of Banks Malaysia (ABM) and other relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • Preferably a bachelor\'s degree in business, economics, finance and accounting, communication or marketing.
  • At least 3 years of product/ project management experience in a Financial Institution or large corporate firm environment.
  • Evidence of a strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to influence broadly and challenge conventional thinking, superb ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into meaningful information and actions, excellent communication skills & ability to work with other stakeholders in the bank.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment, excellent project management skills required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of targeted direct marketing, brand management and strong understanding of the financial services industry competitors and target market.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in product and/ or marketing management from a leading financial services firm. Other attractive experiences include those in data analysis, branding/advertising, market research, forecasting and promotions.
  • Evidence of strong business decision making & have good planning & organisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Excellent language proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented and prepared to accept challenging goals.
  • Able to work independently and is customer-oriented.
  • Able to work under pressure.
