  • FMSW \xe2\x80\x93 Financial Market Supervisory Workbench \xe2\x80\x93 is a platform for Front Office to fulfil their supervisory responsibilities. It is a function that is carried out globally.

    • Business related queries are addressed in a timely manner ensuring we deliver the best possible solutions to stakeholders.

    • Workflow exceptions are treated earnestly and in a timely fashion to mitigate them in the future.

    • Queries relating to audit and dealt with utmost care and queries are addressed within strict timelines.

    • Technical queries are handled on a daily basis and the best workable solution are provided to stakeholders.
Our Expectations for the Right Candidate
  • Excellent communication skills are a key factor to be part of the FMSW framework, both written and oral.
  • Impeccable Microsoft Excel proficiency is required to manoeuvre around daily business.
  • It is expected for the individual to be able to manage daily tasks independently.
  • Teamwork is as essential as independency, though allocated with individual tasks we are still one team at the end of the day.
  • The individuals are expected to adapt themselves to the ever-changing environment and be ready to take up challenges and opportunities as and when presented.
  • The individual will be presented with opportunities to work on projects such as A3s and it is expected of the individual to multi-task between BAU and the project taken up.
  • Problem solving skills are much appreciated to provide workable solutions to our stakeholders.
  • It is expected for individuals to deliver expectation adhering to strict deadlines.
Experience Required
  • Excellent knowledge on Financial Market Supervisory Workbench.
  • System Navigation.
  • Project Management Experience.
FO Admin Primary Responsibilities
  • Exception Management:
    • Exception Workflow Handling
      • Exception Workflows are routed to FO admin queue in cases where the FO users do not have the required role, left the bank, inactive/not available in HR or on leave & delegation not set up. Hence it is very critical that these exception workflows are redirected to the appropriate reviewers to ensure that the workflows are reviewed and sign-off timely by reaching out to either Front Office/ BORMs to understand who will be able to review these exceptions workflows on behalf of the original approver.
    • Investigation and Resolving of disputed workflows from Front Office
      • Should there be any dispute by the Front Office with the acknowledgement hierarchy or workflows which have been incorrectly assigned to them for review. FO Admin will need to investigate by reaching out to the respective Front Office Users or liaise with RBM/BORMs to understand the underlying dispute e.g if it is routing issue, false exception etc. Accordingly, assist to rectify issues by updating the acknowledgement configuration, coordinating with supporting functions on how these could be rerouted/recalled/recalled & Resubmitted, or escalate this Project Team or Rules engine team for updating business rules if required.
    • Responding to Production Queries from business
      • Respond to production queries from business users which could range from data queries, business rule queries, FMSW app queries. Involve project team or PSS team or BORMs wherever required. Flag off any false exceptions to respective Control Owners
  • Configuration Management
    • Acknowledgement / Approver Configuration
      • Front Office Admin will need to assist to update the approval configurations (upon request or dispute) for workflows where FO Approvers are manually configured and maintained in the system - e.g. Cancel & Amend, Transaction Rate Review, Profit & Loss, Group Market Risk..etc.
    • Provisioning Read Only Access to Front Office and Front Office Supporting Staff
      • Provide Front Office/ BORMs with \xe2\x80\x9cSupport View\xe2\x80\x9d read only access for the various workflows (upon request) so that they can gain insight to the respective business processes (E.g. P&L, GMR, IPV, FVA reports, etc.)
FO Admin Secondary Responsibilities
  • Controls Management - Workflow Control Checks
    • Perform control checks to ensure completion of workflows in a timely manner and carry out investigation/ follow ups.
    • Ensure all the exceptions are reported in EORP as per KCI definition where ever applicable. This might be a monthly activity based on the process defined. Follow-up with Process owners in case KCI are not defined
  • Access Management - Periodic Review of Front Office Admin Roles and User Access
    • FMSW has various business process workflows providing data required for Supervision which needs controlled and appropriate access to users based on their responsibilities. Hence, this requires a periodic review to ensure FO Admins in FMSW have been set up correctly.
  • Data Feed Management \xe2\x80\x93 Manual File Upload Review
    • MFU Admin should perform a weekly MI MFU health check and follow up with the various data owners to ensure the data is uploaded by the cut off date and that any upload exception are cleared off on time. This is to ensure that the most updated information is available for the FO Supervisors to fulfil their supervisory responsibilities.
  • Configuration Management
    • Audit Requests Configuration
      • Provisioning access for GIA team after obtaining approval from Adam Crossman (Business Owner) or other control Functions on occasional basis. This is an ad-hoc activity.
    • Static Configuration Maintenance
      • Updating of static configurations on ad-hoc basis (e.g. Changes in FM Head, inclusion of new products/ instruments/ currencies for FMSW Trader Mandate module). This is an ad-hoc activity.
    • Workflow Admin Configuration for other FO Admin
      • Provisioning of Workflow Admin configurations which provides an extra level of control that would only allow those FO Admin with a certain level of access to provide the same level of access to other FO Admin. This is an ad-hoc activity.
    • Manual File Upload (MFU) User Configuration Changes
      • Provisioning access for data owners so that they can upload the MI data on occasional basis.
      • Frequency is quite less, upto 1 to 2 request per quarter, where each request may take approx. 10 mins. This is an ad-hoc activity.
  • Information Requests - Acknowledgement Hierarchy Extraction Request
    • Front Office Admin occasionally will need to extract the acknowledgement hierarchy and provide them to the control functions (e.g. Product Control) for their reconciliation purpose upon request This is an ad-hoc activity.
  • Exception Management - Recalling of Workflows
    • Configured FO Admin have the ability to recall Against Fix Orders, Margin Reform and Trader Mandate Exception workflows from the submission screen in case of any incorrect information that otherwise cannot be modified within FMSW such as Trader ID etc. This is an ad-hoc activity.
Benchmarks
  • Responsible to perform the BAU controls, reporting and escalation process for the bank.
  • Support and deliver change process in accordance with Compliance standards.
  • Represent in various forums and committees related to FMSW Refinement forums to address any risk issues.
  • Liaise with counterparts and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance the work environment.
  • Initiate methodology discussions, liaising with heads to ensure that SCB meets regulatory standards.

  • To lead and motivate the FMSW team ensuring that everyone achieves their potential and that the team delivers its collective agenda.
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners across the organization.
  • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
