Responsibilities*

Strategy

Driving optimal performance through evolving the FM Central Control Group Target Operating Model. Supporting an ambitious Technology agenda by implementing automation using Python for rules based control monitoring and other work.

Business

FM Central Control Group (CCG) supports the FM Risk and Control function.

Processes

Control Monitoring

Monitor controls in processes and operations by executing control sample tests, monitoring key control indicators and running daily controls check. Identify, report and escalate failures in processes and material breaches to controls. Follow up on the completion of the remediation plans of identified gaps and weaknesses of processes and controls arising from CST/KCI monitoring and other internal/external reviews.

Technical Competencies

i) Ability to manure Microsoft office \xe2\x80\x93 Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
ii) Capacity to manage time accordingly \xe2\x80\x93 As delegated by line management from time to time
iii) Has some skills in multitasking between BAU \xe2\x80\x93 Taking up projects ie A3\xe2\x80\x99s
iv) Software knowledge (Added Value) Acquiring an Advanced knowledge in:

a) Opics, Razor & Murex Screen Navigation

b) eOps report extraction for EOD

c) GEMS screen navigation and report extraction on complaints management.

d) Workbench Report Extraction

e) Workbench Deal & Client Data Sourcing

f) CreditMate Client Data Sourcing

g) Bloomberg Navigation/extract key information

h) FMSW system navigation/extract key information/upload supporting materials & input commentaries as require by the checks

i) Ecom system navigation/extract key information/upload supporting materials & input commentaries as require by the checks

j) MX FX Cash & SSDR system navigation/extract key information/upload supporting materials & input commentaries as require by the checks

k) iCDMS system navigation/extract key information/upload supporting materials & input commentaries as require by the checks

l) M7 Module Navigation for Maker and Checker on KCI and CST

m) M7 report extraction for Test details, test plan, control sample test, metric and metric response

n) M7 navigation on \'My action\' and upload of results for CST and KCI

People & Talent*

  • Attain effective communication within the team and stakeholders which ensures the message is received and understood with clarity
  • Team Player would help enhance the team\xe2\x80\x99s efficiency and productivity
  • Able to rely onto when there is a need of more hands during any discrepancy that could arise
  • Analytical skills to enable in identifying complex problems and solve it independently (Risk assessment/Risk certification), interpret metrics (RRA, IRR...etc), manage reporting and deliver an investigation
  • Decision making skills would help in efficiency of completing task within the timeline
  • Regulatory knowledge i.e. - Operational Risk Framework & Wall standards and inside information risk, ERMF, FMEA\xe2\x80\xa6 etc)
  • Adequate knowledge around Tableau and Excel as these tools are primarily used to produce the MIs and able to troubleshoot and resolve issues on these tools.
  • Coding skills such as visual basic application or Python is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong risk management and controls background to ensure people skills and management skills are embedded. To be able to be relied upon with minimal supervision
  • Highly effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years experienced in Control Monitoring field
Risk Management*

Understand principle and standards relevant to Enterprise Risk Management Framework, make recommendations (and/or implement) to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/or findings of concerns from CST/KCI reviews. Inform senior management of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or cease activities.

Governance*

Attend relevant management meetings.
In the event of serious regulatory breaches, or where risk tolerances have been breached, ensure senior management and relevant regulators are informed and that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased.
Prepare and cascade lessons learned from audit findings, and specific investigations
Analyse and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and thus drive remediation action within the function.
Departmental Continuity Coordinators (DCCs) - Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Develop, maintain and exercise Business Continuity Plan (BC Plan)
