Job Description
About the role:
This role is about implementing and continuously improving security policies that safeguard all Company facilities, Company assets, shipments and employees.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist the National Security Manager in ensuring that DHL is the benchmark for security excellence.
- Implement and execute security policies, procedures and initiatives covering all DHL facilities, company assets, shipments and
- personnel under their area of responsibility.
- Communicate and collaborate with all DHL customers especially their Security Departments on ways to enhance the safety and security of their shipments.
- Provide support and information to facilitate the resolution or investigation of incidents.
- Maintain cordial and professional relationships with the Police, Customs and other relevant authorities that will facilitate investigations, and which will assist in upholding DHL\xe2\x80\x99s corporate image.
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc security audits and security assessments to ensure full compliance with all security policies, procedures and initiatives.
- Conduct background and reference checks, where appropriate, on employees, suppliers and vendors as part of precautionary security vetting.
- Excellent investigative reporting skills
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Strong Problem solving skills
- 3 or more years of investigative and prosecution background.
