To identify risk and assess customer\'s credit worthiness and ability to service the debt and provide credit recommendation based on MBM credit policies, targets & Budgets. Handle market inquiries related to credit application status and processing quality accurately, with valid and complete information provided to the market in a timely manner.
Co-ordinate the preparation of daily, weekly & monthly reporting on results & statistics, for Senior Management and department. Ensure the market\'s credit risk controls management and management board are provided with regular updates on credit quality service levels, as well as efficiency service levels.
Identify deficiencies in processes & systems and ensure improvements are recommended. Identify & implement digital solutions to support best customer experience and gain internal efficiencies, e.g. working together with Local Market Credit Risk and Global Credit Risk Management on implementing and improving credit operations processes and methods.
Lead, motivate and develop employees. Target agreements and performance evaluations to be performed. Ensure training and development plans in place to support employees to achieve their full potential.
Ensure all rules/company policies/regulations are adhered to.
Ensure all audit findings are investigated thoroughly and appropriate solution are implemented in a timely manner.
Ensure corrective action when necessary.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics; Master\'s degree in Business Administration or like.
Professional Experience
1. 7 to 10 years direct experience in credit operations and people management role
2. Extensive knowledge of credit systems and practices, operations in a bank or financial institution or shared services industry.
3. Strong understanding of the motor vehicle and credit/finance industry, business operations, financial analysis, portfolio trends/behavior and lending guidelines of market
4. Knowledge of local regulations within Asia Pacific markets.
Required Specific Knowledge and Capabilities
1. Proven experience and understanding of process management
2. Solid experience in project management, including use of agile project management methods
Other MUST HAVES
Able to read, write in Traditional Mandarin and converse in Mandarin. Converse in Hokkien will be an added advantage.
With relevant working experience in Bank, Shared Services supporting APAC region.
Possess strong leadership skill in managing larger team size i.e., > 15.
